Asset List
The asset list is your central view of every asset in the system. From here you can search, filter, and take action on individual or multiple assets.
Browsing Assets
Navigate to Assets from the main menu. The asset list displays your inventory in a searchable, sortable table. Click any row to open that asset's detail record.
Filtering by Category or Location
The left sidebar provides two tree views:
- Asset Types — Click a category to filter the list to that type only.
- Locations — Click a location to see only assets assigned there.
Click the selected item again to clear the filter.
Searching
Use the search box above the table to find assets by name, asset number, serial number, barcode, or other fields. Results update as you type.
Adjusting the View
Use the Show Rows dropdown to control how many records appear per page (10, 25, 50, 100, or 250).
Toolbar Actions
The toolbar above the list provides quick access to common operations:
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| New | Create a new asset record |
| Check Out | Assign selected assets to a person |
| Check In | Return selected assets |
| Audit | Record an audit for selected assets |
| Delete | Move selected assets to the trash |
| Refresh | Reload the list |
The More menu provides additional options:
- Copy — Duplicate the selected asset to create a new record with the same details.
- Export to Excel — Download the current list view as a spreadsheet.
Select multiple assets using the checkboxes in the first column, then use the toolbar buttons to act on all of them at once.
Viewing the Trash
Click Trash at the bottom of the left sidebar to view deleted assets. From there you can restore assets or permanently remove them. See Deleting Assets and Restoring Assets for details.
