Account and Login
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, click "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and you'll receive a link to create a new password.
My account is locked. What do I do?
After 10 failed login attempts, accounts are locked for 5 minutes. Wait and try again, or ask your System Administrator to assist.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
A System Administrator can enable 2FA under Admin > Security Settings. Once enabled, users receive a verification code by email at login.
Assets
Can I track both individual items and bulk quantities?
Yes. When creating an asset, choose Individual for unique items (each tracked separately) or Bulk for a quantity of identical items. See Adding Assets.
How do I check out an asset to someone?
Select the asset in the list and click Check Out, or scan the asset barcode with the scanner. See Check Out and Check In.
I accidentally deleted an asset. Can I get it back?
Yes. Deleted assets go to the trash and can be restored. See Deleting Assets and Restoring Assets.
How do I print barcode labels?
Go to Reports and select Barcode Labels. Choose a label format and the assets you want to print labels for. See Reports.
Scanner
Do I need to install an app to scan barcodes?
No. The scanner runs in your web browser and uses your device's camera. No app installation is required.
What barcode formats are supported?
The scanner supports standard 1D barcodes (Code 128, Code 39, etc.) and 2D barcodes (QR codes).
The camera won't start. What's wrong?
Make sure you've granted camera permission to your browser. Check your browser settings and ensure the site has camera access. If using an older device, try Keyboard mode instead.
Data Management
How do I import existing asset data?
Navigate to Admin > Import, download the CSV template, fill in your data, and upload it. See Importing Data.
How do I export my data?
Navigate to Admin > Options > Export to download your complete data set. You can also export any list view to Excel using the More > Export to Excel button. See Exporting Data.
Can I customize the dropdown fields?
Yes. System Administrators and Data Administrators can configure selection fields (statuses, conditions, categories, etc.) under Admin > Options > Selection Fields. See Selection Fields.
