Deleting Vendors

When you no longer work with a vendor, you can move their record to the trash.

Permissions

You must have Data Administrator or System Administrator permissions to delete vendors.

Walkthrough

Step 1 of 2Find the vendor

Use the search or filters on the vendor list to find the vendor you want to delete.

Recycle bin

Deleted vendors are moved to a recycle bin where they can be restored by a System Administrator if needed.

Assets are not affected

Deleting a vendor does not delete or modify any assets that reference that vendor. The vendor field on those assets will simply be empty.
